For more than fifteen years, 7L International has designed, built and supported digital products for organizations around the world. Most of what we have learned along the way has stayed inside project retrospectives, Slack threads and whiteboard photos. This blog is where we start sharing it.
What you can expect here
We are a digital transformation consultancy and custom software development firm. Our work spans web and mobile applications, e-commerce platforms, cloud infrastructure, IoT, AI and the modernization of legacy systems. The blog will follow the same range:
- Engineering notes. Practical write-ups on architecture decisions, integrations, performance and security, taken from real projects.
- Product and delivery. How we run discovery, why we insist on defining the "ultimate problem" first, and what end-to-end delivery means in practice.
- Industry perspectives. Lessons from healthcare, finance, shipping, hospitality, automotive and smart buildings.
- Company news. Programs like Startupper, new partnerships, awards and what is happening across our hubs.
Why a blog, and why now
Our clients tell us that the most valuable part of working with 7L is the thinking that happens before the first line of code. That thinking is hard to see from the outside. Publishing it openly is a way to make the way we work visible, to hold ourselves to it, and to give founders and technology leaders something useful even if they never hire us.
Our success metric is neither revenue nor client satisfaction. It is project success: the long-term sum of factors that fall in place to shape a solution that keeps delivering value.
Who is writing
Posts come from across the company: engineers, project managers, designers and leadership. Unless a post is signed by an individual, it is a team effort reviewed by the people who did the work it describes.
